MUSIC

“Music begins where the possibilities of language end.”
– Jean Sibelius

From the jubilant excitement of an uplifting hymn to the quiet contemplation of prayer or meditation, music is an integral part of any worship service. The Music Program, with its many talented members of our congregation, strives to provide this atmosphere, both within the worship service and outside of it.

The Choir

The Choir enhances the worship service experience through singing. We sing a wide variety of music, from classical to gospel. We rehearse on Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:45 from August through May in the sanctuary, and we sing in the Sunday service about twice a month.

Are you interested in singing with a fun group of people? No audition is necessary! Don’t worry if you don’t know how to read music; we will teach you what you need to know. Please email our  Music Director, Scott Deveaux, or just show up for a rehearsal! We’d love to have you!
