Dear Beloved Community,

As an update to last week’s announcement regarding Rev. Alex’s ministerial candidating process with the UU congregation in Charleston, WV…after much discernment, Rev. Alex realized that Charlottesville is where both her home and ministry are centered and has withdrawn from their ministerial search process. She is deeply grateful to the Charleston congregation for their hospitality and greatly admires their healthy congregation. We look forward to continuing to walk with her on her ministerial path.

TJMC Covenant Statement
In order to create the beloved community we all desire for ourselves, we, the Congregation of Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church Unitarian Universalist covenant to:
Communicate with compassion and respect, especially when we disagree
Celebrate diversity and nurture our inclusivity,
Promote social justice within our congregation and the larger community,
Generously support the ministries of the church with time, money and enthusiasm, and
Lovingly call each other back into covenant when we have fallen short.
