Sounds of Music, December 2010
The month of December will be filled with music. Reverend Dr. Janet Newman and I are planning the music services for Sunday, December 12 and the Adult Choir will be providing special seasonal music. We are fortunate to receive the gift of flute and cello music by Terra Voce (Elizabeth Brightbill and Andrew Gabbert) during these services as well.
Bob Gross and his talented musical friends will be offering a concert that same afternoon, Sunday, December 12, at 3 PM in the Sanctuary. Come and enjoy the glorious music of Mozart and Schumann while supporting our church. Thank you, Bob!
I would like to express my appreciation to all our wonderful musicians who contribute greatly to our worship services, and especially to our devoted choir members who come weekly to work hard on Thursday nights and come early on Sunday mornings. And we all appreciate you lifting your voice in song during our worship together.
The Charlottesville Women’s Choir will sing during our Sunday services on December 5.
