In a year of uncertainty, tragedy and turmoil, it is time to gather in the circle once more.  With the blessing of Zoom technology, we will be able to see and hear each other, participate in small groups, witness beautiful imagery and hear the beloved music. We will tune into  standing on the labyrinth in UU Charlottesville, processing, candles in hand, choosing our small groups and creating the enduring circle of women.

Please note:  Due to the pandemic, we are unable to gather in person at UU Charlottesville.  We will be using the Zoom platform to gather virtually.

We ask that you prepare yourself for this year’s Quest by creating an altar with a candle, sacred objects and something that represents the Light.  Please have a finger labyrinth at the ready (purchase or download one at www.veriditas.org or draw one of your own.) You can join the Dream Quest on your computer or iPad (phone not recommended).

On Friday, we will start in the large group with our songs, participate in guided meditations, and call our circles.  After an imaginal candlelight procession, we will be randomly assigned to small groups led by able women of the Dream Quest circle.  We will then come back to the large group for a finger labyrinth walk, setting our dreaming intentions and receiving a lullaby.

On Saturday morning, we will be offered an awakening 7 a.m. yoga class before we gather for a time of mediation, labyrinth walking, and a second session with your small group followed by closing rituals.

There has never been a time in my memory when we need more Light– more illumination of our deepest knowing, more ease and grace in all our relationships, more glowing hope and healing in ourselves, our families, our nation, our planet.
