Adult Faith Development Classes - Ongoing
Weekly Lunchtime Labyrinth Walk
Come and enjoy an intentional pause in the middle of your week. We’ll meet on the outdoor labyrinth (weather permitting) and engage in walking meditation at our own pace. No prior experience with the labyrinth or walking meditation necessary. If the weather makes being outdoors uncomfortable, we will gather in the sanctuary and enjoy the silence. Come and go as suits your needs. This class is a prefect prelude to Rev. Erik’s Wednesday Wonderings which begins at 12:15.
Leader: Leia Durland-Jones

Wednesday Wonderings
Rev. Erik will facilitate this weekly drop-in program which will consist of encounters with some of the great mystics of the Christian traditions. Each week we will read together some texts that illuminate a particular mystic’s primary concerns and approach, and then discuss how we react to what we have read. Come when you can, leave when you need to, bring your lunch, and keep your mind and heart open. If you like, join us on the outdoor labyrinth just prior to class (11:45 AM) for walking meditation.
Leader: Erik Walker Wikstrom
Erik Walker Wikstrom is the newly settled minister of TJMC. Before this he has served two other UU congregations for a combined total of approximately thirteen years, and served for three years on the UUA staff in Boston. He brings a passion for our faith and its history, and a certainty that knowing where we’ve come from is an essential foundation for building our future.
