Green Sanctuary Task Force and Environmental Action
The Green Sanctuary Task Force oversees and guides the work of the Environmental Action Committee. It meets jointly with the Environmental Action Committee each quarter, while the Environmental Action Committee meets every month and carries out the activities of the Action Plan.

- Increased recycling of church materials efforts to promote energy efficiency and sustainable practices
- Presentations on environmental topics by local and national speakers
- Joint activities with local environmental groups
- Joint efforts with Buildings and Grounds committees

- Adult religious education programming
- Green field trips
