UUsed BookStore
The TJMC UUsed BookStore is open for business in the Social Hall every Sunday during coffee hour. The BookStore is a joint venture between the Fundraising and Membership Committees, and will offer a variety of new and used books on religion and spirituality, plus a rotating assortment of used fiction and non-fiction books for your reading pleasure, all at prices so reasonable you can buy a book, read it and donate it back for resale so others can enjoy it too!
You may donate books to the BookStore at any time. We want donations of good to excellent condition hard and softcover fiction plus up-to-date non-fiction and reference books, but please no textbooks, encyclopedias, outdated reference books or magazines. Donations should be taken to the Summit House kitchen alcove, or alternatively left on the front porch if the building is locked. Valuable books that we find will be sold online and any that we can’t use will be donated to the Gordon Avenue Library Book Sale.
All proceeds from the UUsed BookStore directly support TJMC programs, so stop by often and stock up. Questions? Please write booksale@uucharlottesville.org.
