TJMC offers many small group opportunities for friendship and sharing.
Do you want to meet others for meaningful conversation? There are many opportunities here!
Contact any of the groups listed below, and/or stop by the Connections Table in the Social Hall after Sunday services to learn more. Our volunteers are happy to tell you more about these opportunities and to introduce you to others involved.
Each Thursday at 1:00 pm, a group of our elder members (65+) meets to share ideas and to discuss events and topics from their unique perspectives. Twice each month these meetings are facilitated by our Lead Minister; the group shares responsibility for the other two meetings.

Covenant groups meet to explore and support each others’ spiritual development as well as to build friendships and a deeper sense of closeness within the congregation. A structured discussion process ensures that everyone has a chance to participate.
Groups form in the fall and normally meet twice a month through May. You can register to join a group any time.
Covenant group organizers will have a table in the social hall in August and September where those who want to join a group can resister. Once they know how many people want to participate and what days and times are popular, they will organize new groups for the year ahead.

A men’s covenant group that actively seeks to build closer ties – Bonds of Brotherhood – between and among its members through the sharing of stories and experiences. We raise funds for the church through our annual Chili Cook-Off and provide support for other fund-raising activities. Our meetings rotate between the third Wednesday and Thursday evenings of the month, in the church parlor. We also host an annual retreat during the first weekend of June.

Young Adult Ministry
Young Adult Ministry is for anyone who defines as a young adult (usually 18-30). We share lunch after church most Sundays, do service projects, and reflect on how our values are supporting how we navigate our lives.
