The Eleventh Annual TJMC Back-To-School Yard Sale Extravaganza is fast approaching! The sale date is Saturday, August 21, from 8 AM–2 PM, but we need all donations in by Wednesday, August 18, in order to complete setup. We accept furniture, kitchen and household items, linens, artwork and decorative items, kid’s games and toys, sporting equipment, yard and garden items, electronics, books, and CDs. But not computers, non-cable ready TVs, large exercise equipment, child car seats or clothing.

Bring smaller donations now to Summit House (the yellow house adjacent to the Social Hall) on Sunday mornings or during the week when the Church Office is open, but please hold any large furniture drop-offs until a week before the sale to help us maximize our working space. Help with bulky item pickup is available if needed. As always, please make sure all donations are clean and in good working order.

We have a solid core crew of volunteers, however, we will need extra help from 9 AM-4 PM on Friday, August 20, as we do final table and item setup. And lots of additional helping hands are needed on the sale day, including cashiers, jewelry/valuable item monitors, general and cleanup help. We also need some strong individuals to help with furniture deliveries throughout the day.

If you have a truck and can do furniture pickups before the sale or make furniture deliveries and help distribute leftovers to local charities on sale day, please let us know. Helping out is a great opportunity to do some UU bonding!
