Did you know?

At TJMCUU we now boast almost 500 members - we are a large congregation

Since January 2009 we have added over 40 NEW members - we are a growing church

Our Operating Budget for 2009 - 2010 is $580,000 - and we’ll need over $600,000 next year

The cost of supporting the church is about $1,200 Per Member.  Unlike many other congregations, most of our income goes towards meeting the basic needs of the day-to-day operating expenses, leaving little for new initiatives or community outreach programs. Here’s how we spend our money:

Did you know?

• We have about 70 working groups and committees- we are an active church
• Over 220 children/youth participate in Religious Education - we are a young church
• UUppity Women now boast over 104 members and friends, who are always there to help - we are a supportive church
• The Clear Springs Sangha meets weekly and 20 of our members participate in a 4-day annual retreat - we are a diverse church
• Well over 100 supported the efforts of IMPACT last year in support of social justice - we are an involved church
• We have 72 people participating in 9 Covenant Groups - we are a caring church

      TJMC - UU provides great opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and social action

And, did you know?

• Last year we had almost a 90% increase in first time pledges, but…..
• We still rely on the generosity of just 54 members and friends for half our pledge support and…
• The average commitment received last year was just $870, versus the $1,200 per member we need to make ends meet and provide for the continued existence of our church.
